KNOW THE ROLE
The Junior Business Analyst will work as part of the Digital Products team, and support the Senior Product Owner in delivering the digital roadmap across web and mobile app, taking ownership of the day-to-day execution of work through Jira to support the Senior PO to focus on backlog strategy, stakeholder management, and solution design.
Key Responsibilities:
Translate defined requirements into well-structured Jira tickets (user stories, acceptance criteria, technical notes) for both web and app development tracks
Maintain Jira hygiene: grooming, prioritisation support, sprint preparation, and reporting
Liaise with developers and QA to clarify requirements, unblock queries, and support delivery through the sprint cycle
Support release activities including release notes, regression coordination, and post-release validation
Document processes, decisions, and platform behaviours to build a reusable internal knowledge base
Pick up smaller pieces of analysis and discovery work under the Senior PO's direction, growing into broader product responsibilities over time
KNOW WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
1–2 years' experience in a BA, Associate PO, or similar delivery role, ideally in e-commerce, retail, or digital product
Comfortable working in Jira and Confluence; familiarity with Agile/Scrum ceremonies
Comfortable analysing API contracts — endpoints, request/response parameters, attributes, and payload structures — to support a headless architecture across web and app
Strong written communication — able to write clear, unambiguous tickets
Detail-oriented, organised, and comfortable managing multiple workstreams in parallel
Curious about technology and willing to develop a working understanding of our platform (Salesforce Commerce Cloud) and mobile app stack
Comfortable using AI tools (e.g. Claude) to accelerate day-to-day work — drafting tickets, summarising requirements, interrogating documentation, and exploring solution options — with the judgement to validate outputs before they're actioned
A collaborative working style — comfortable interfacing with developers, QA, and business stakeholders
Exposure to SFCC or a comparable enterprise e-commerce platform
Experience working across both web and native mobile app delivery
