    I worked at BearingPoint full-time

    Pros

The people are great - well chosen by the recruitment team. Upper management is approachable. Good work events and sports and social club. Good perks with gym membership and healthcare.

    Cons

Much the same as the other reviews on here. Salary isn't great, tech stack on projects is often outdated, very long bench time. Upper management is old fashioned in their views.

    Advice to Management

They need to modernise their policies and processes (e.g. work attire, flexibility, performance monitoring, career progression) to retain talent and compete with software companies.

I have been working at BearingPoint full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

The people are excellent, the benefits package is good. Not much overtime required.

    Cons

The pay falls behind what the market offers and good people leave. People get stuck on projects for years and don't have much say in it. Sometimes caught up in bureaucratic and outdated processes internally. Some projects have stale tech stacks or bad management. Training is mostly an afterthought other than being expected to do 40 hours of it. Limited use of remote working and other modern ways of working.

    Advice to Management

When people tell you they want more money, give it to them. Pay attention to good people before they leave.

I worked at BearingPoint full-time for more than 10 years

    Pros

Good friendly place to work. The non salary benefits are top notch as well. In general very positive work environment. Lots of career advancement/promotion opportunities at lower grades in particular.

    Cons

Salary levels middle of the road. Mandatory training hours per year is good idea in principal but could be more career/ goal orientated as it feels a bit like a box ticking exercise currently.

    Advice to Management

Bit more project rotation especially for longer term employees.
