    Application

I applied online. The process took 2+ months. I interviewed at Deloitte (Dublin, Co. Dublin).

    Interview

Shortly after my application I was contacted by the Manager to have the first initial phone screen scheduled for 20 minutes when I was invited for a face-to-face interview. Once I arrived the Manager kept me waiting for 30 minutes.

During the interview he explained the role and responsibilities well and gave me a proper overview on the company goals. Then he deep-dived into my background and asked really thorough questions with special focus on how things are done at my current employer. I got the impression that he was not interested in my individual achievements but getting more an overview on processes, technologies. My instinct proved me right: a few weeks later I received a generic rejection email.
