    I worked at Citi full-time

    Pros

Ample opportunity to develop skill-set. There is a position and capacity to progress regardless of your background, strengths and weaknesses. Management structure is inclusive and transparent without endless layers of reporting lines unlike other large institutions. Internal mobility, including location migration is supported here.

    Cons

Work-Life balance remains a challenge depending on the line of business you work in. Precedence is of course reflected in theory (at HR level) but very much depends on line of business and managements interpretation. Like all global organizations, certain migration of processes and functions to lower cost locations means you will likely experience one or more redundancy scenario's per 7-10 year time frame.
