About the Role

The Solution Delivery Test Analyst is an integral part of the software development lifecycle, ensuring that system enhancements and new technology solutions are thoroughly tested, validated, and fit for purpose. You will work across functional, technical, performance, and security testing, coordinating closely with developers, product owners, business teams, and third‑party partners.

This role requires strong analytical thinking, excellent problem-solving ability, technical knowledge, and meticulous attention to detail. You will ensure requirements are fully understood, test cases executed, defects identified early, and releases delivered to the highest standard.

What You’ll Be Doing

Test Planning & Execution

• Review technical, functional, and non‑functional requirements for completeness and clarity.
• Create detailed test cases (manual and automated) linked directly to requirements.
• Execute system, regression, performance, and security testing.
• Analyse results, log defects, and follow through to resolution using test management tools.

Quality Assurance & Collaboration

• Coordinate and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and contribute to UAT sign‑off.
• Liaise with Product Managers, Product Owners, developers, planning teams, and business units to clarify requirements and troubleshoot issues.
• Provide support to end users during and after project go‑live.

Automation & Continuous Improvement

• Execute automation scripts and review outputs.
• Identify opportunities for automation to enhance efficiency and consistency.
• Contribute to tool evaluation and selection for testing activities.
• Work closely with the Solution Delivery Test Manager on process improvements and optimised testing approaches.

Documentation & Reporting

• Define and document test approaches for manual and automated testing.
• Record testing time, project tasks, and any time lost.
• Create and maintain defect reports, test evidence, and operational outputs.

About You

Essential

• 4+ years’ experience in software testing.
• Experience using test management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail).
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Experience with:
  • Windows and Linux operating systems
  • Java, web services, and SQL
  • Testing database-driven applications

Desirable

• Experience with performance or security testing tools.
• Experience testing AI solutions or using AI tools within the testing lifecycle.
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent relevant experience.
