eBay Interview Questions

3 round phone interview, all in English. Mainly asked about the work experiences, tools I use, education background, project experience, and why would I looked for a new opportunity. First two rounds, interviewers are Chinese, the final round interviewer is from Europe.

First round： phone screen with some basic sql questions and also some sql coding questions , and some other questions about past experience Second round is with the analytics team through zoom, including coding and business case

3~4 Rounds of interview. People are friendly and knowledgable, but hiring process can be long and interview questions at times can be a bit unique as eBay is a very unique marketplace.

Casual interview style. Very friendly. The interview process was 2-3 steps long, and the team was wonderful at explaining the position and expectations. They asked standard questions and wanted to hear about your experience in depth.

I first received an initial test that is followed by 2 rounds of technical interviews and I think that is followed by figuring out whether or not you get an offer from the company.

Three rounds interviews. One round of behavior interview, two rounds of domain knowledge interview, and one round of technical question interview. Overall is not hard but good domain knowledge is a must. The whole process last for one and a half week. The interviewers are nice but it really depends on which team are you interviewing for.

Spoke with the recruiter & hiring manager, unfortunately got ghosted after speaking with the hiring manager. Followed up a few times with the recruiter but was met with total silence. Understand if I’m not moving forward, but it’s frustrating to not hear anything, even if it’s a simple “no”

It was an easygoing and good process. I did not get through a lot and the organizers were very helpful. Interview was a panel interview with four different people and it took time more than 3 hours.

First I had to do an online assessment. It was basic grammar, and spelling so I passed easily The recruiter offered me an initial interview, which we scheduled. A few days later she said the start date changed, and would like to reschedule our interview until February, I agreed. Two weeks later, on the date for the interview, the recruiter did not show up. This was horribly unprofessional. You can only take the online assessment on laptop, so I had to buy a new laptop before I could do the assessment. I'm really upset at the lack of professionalism

Interview process was very robust and I felt very supported by the internal recruiter at every step of the way. After I ahd applied I was contacted by and internal recruiter who invited me to a remote call with the hiring manager. This call very much felt like an informal chat with some competency based questions but was more focused on my personal experience and who I was. I was then invited to a more formal interview setting, again remote, with 2 senior leaders formt he department the role was in. This was a series of competancy based questions with some additional opportunity to talk to these beyond the original question. There was time for me to ask questions and there was some questions off the cuff asked as well (Tell me how I would know you were stressed or under pressure). After this I was invited to meet with the Director of the function, this had a good mix of getting to know me and my experience but some scenario and competency absed questions as well. After every stage I was called by the recruiter and check in on, I was usually asked how I felt it went and then informed I was onto the next round. I was contacted a couple of times by the recruiter when we had down time between just completing a stage and waiting to hear about the next stage. Throughout the whole process I felt very well looked after and everyone I spoke to were very friendly, welcoming and super knowledgeable.
