Get ready Westmeath shoppers. We have received planning permission for a new store in Moate meaning more Westmeath customers will now be able to avail of ALDI’s unbeatable value! Our environmentally friendly store will bring up to 30 permanent jobs to the local area along with 50 jobs created during the construction phase.
Great news for Cavan shoppers! We are bringing our everyday amazing prices to Cootehill, creating up to 25 permanent jobs locally. We have received planning permission for a new store on Station Road and Market Street, Cootehill, meaning more customers will be able to avail of our unbeatable value in a new environmentally-friendly store. In addition, 60 jobs will be created during the construction phase.

Today marks the launch of our ambitious Limerick investment plan, which would see ALDI open three new stores by 2025 in Roches Street, Moyross and Dooradoyle. The total investment will come to €36.6m, creating 90 jobs and supporting a further 200 jobs during construction. We are delighted to start construction at the first of these stores at Roches Street, representing ALDI’s first city centre store in Limerick which is expected to open in 2025. Through this new store, we are committed to delivering great quality products at unbeatable prices to the people of Limerick.

ALDI Ireland has agreed four major new deals with Irish-based suppliers worth more than €26 million at this year’s National Ploughing Championship. The new and extended contracts with Lakeland Dairies, Clandeboye Estate Yogurt, donnelly fresh produce and Velo Coffee Roasters align with ALDI’s long-standing commitment to its Irish supplier network. With more than 330 Irish suppliers, ALDI will spend in excess of €1.1 billion this year, bringing the finest quality Irish produce to its 160-store network across Ireland.
