Thank you for your feedback. We are glad you felt supported by the management team during your time at ITG. It is unfortunate that you weren't able to progress your career within ITG as we always prefer to promote internally, however we appreciate this isn't always possible depending on role and experience required for our vacancies. Hopefully you have found your perfect role externally and we want to wish you the best of luck for the future!

Pros

ITG started off as a dream. An amazing introduction of people telling me the best things about the company of 2 weeks, process flows, and slowly being let out into the real ITG world.

Cons

Overworked. Underpaid. Inexperienced leadership team in the creative side of the business who don’t know what industry standards are. ITG becomes a very negative and toxic place to work after awhile. I started off in a very positive place, then I was put down by my manager, I was unsupported, overworked and eventually made to feel so bad about myself and my confidence that I had to leave. ITG does not care about people, I had a wellbeing champion call me crying down the phone saying how they couldn’t say anything, how toxic the environment their situation was and how they hated their life at ITG. Multiple people did this across the company, which is so saddening and scary.

Pros

- Work from home - Sometimes the ads you're working on can be fun

Cons

I currently work on one of the AWG accounts. First thing, the clients are very rude and disrespectful many times. I understand this can happen in this kind of work, but it would be good if managers support us more often instead of leaving us alone with the situation. My biggest complaint is about the training. I started when the company was still PureRed. I worked with Pam and Lisa for some weeks. They are both kind people, but honestly, almost nothing they showed me was useful for the real work I ended up doing. I was basically pushed into managing an account I did not understand at all. My team leader has been very helpful and does what she can, but even her knowledge about the account was limited too. What frustrates me the most is that layoffs are still happening, while Pam and Lisa stay all day with very little responsibility and still keep their positions. Meanwhile, the rest of us are struggling every day and working crazy hours. We need more transparency about what they actually do and how they are helping the team. Right now there is a huge disconnect between training and operations. Communication should be constant, and there should not be topics they cannot teach us. I was told they worked on AWG accounts before, so if that is true, then why is there still so much confusion and lack of guidance?

Pros

hybrid working and good benefits

Cons

The worst company ever. For the first month of working here i thought this company was amazing however it is all a façade, do not fall for it. The manager was an absolute bully with stupidly unrealistic expectations. I was also massively underpaid as the only person of colour on the team with massive amounts of work load. Managers ignore you, they don't train you properly and blame you for not being a top performer straight away. 0 diversity at this company and if I'm being honest if you are a person of colour stay away from them!! They do not care or value the mental health of their employee's, their values are absolute rubbish they don't mean any of it. I complained to HR about my unfair dismissal and discrimination claim and they didn't care.

Pros

Some great people Lots of socials some good benefits - holiday, health plan

Cons

1-1s are for show, nothing comes from them "Culture of Kindness" is just a sham, many people are miserable Nepotism through the roof "share scheme" a con to get you to stay Many senior leaders have left 10 year service award was a box of brownies... Many managers have no idea what they were doing Since previous leadership left and CEO change the business has gone downhill Private investment company ruining what was a great place to work

Don't bother.

Pros

Flexible working and the ability to work remotely. Good place to get some short-term experience as a junior in marketing/creative or tech.

Cons

Salaries are very low (some only slightly above minimum wage), especially for graduates, while workloads are high. No real career progression — management does little to support development. Taking annual leave often led to managers digging into your work, and you’d return to unnecessary performance meetings despite hitting all targets and timelines. Juniors are overworked while management contributes little of value. Recent layoffs are blamed on “globalization” and “offshoring,” but in reality it’s all about cutting costs by replacing talented staff with cheaper overseas labor. The company preaches “transparency” and a “culture of kindness,” but the reality is a culture of fear. Senior management doesn’t welcome challenge or feedback, and staff are afraid to speak up in case they’re next on the redundancy list. High-paid executives benefit while frontline employees are treated as disposable.

Hi there, apologies for the late reply.. I am sorry to read that you had a disappointing experience during your time with us. 2025 saw some difficult trading times and in turn difficult decisions. I appreciate your journey with us wasn't as you would have liked but we do very much value our employees and our People and Wellbeing teams work hard to support all our global teams and always encourage and welcome employees to come forward and have a safe place to voice any concerns. We hope you are well and happy in your current place of work.

Hi there, thank you for leaving us a review. It's good to see that you feel you were paid well for your role. Hopefully you enjoyed the huge number of benefits that were available to you too! We are disappointed that you felt there was too much politics and that you had concerns about your work life balance. We hope you felt you could've addressed that with your Line Manager or the People Team, as we are always here to listen. Best of luck in your new role!

Pros

Without a doubt this company has some of the best people i've ever worked with and proud to call my colleagues. Agency lifestyle brings its own native challenges to work and lifestyle but ITG has the most supportive and protective structure for it's personnel that i've seen in years. Their Wellbeing initiative alone supports hundreds of staff to ensure they are happy, healthy and operating at their best. I've personally been able to grow and develop under the tutorship of fellow colleagues and managers over the years and my career has advanced significantly based on the company's investment in my training and future career.

Cons

Work and lifestyle balance can be tricky in any agency that works within this industry but the key is working with the right people to get the job done and deliver on time. There certainly has been some hills to climb over the years and time have occasionally felt tough but i've personally got through them with the support of my colleagues.

What a lovely review to read! Thank you so much for taking the time to share your experience with us, and we are so proud of our culture and wellbeing support offered within ITG. We are a fast paced, successful agency, and we do appreciate at times it can be a struggle to balance work and home life but please don't think this goes unnoticed. We appreciate the enormous effort everyone makes, and it's great to read how your experience of having a great support network around you helps to offset this. Having work-life balance is so important to us and we will always strive to support people who are struggling to achieve this.

Thank you for your feedback. Great to hear you have had opportunities to work in different areas of the business! As a business, we review all salaries annually, awarding increases where performance supports it. If you feel that yours has been overlooked based on your performance, I would encourage you to raise this with your line manager as soon as possible. I would also encourage you to come and speak with the People team confidentially regarding your concerns around nepotism.
