Pros

Good benefits, people treat each other with respect, smart coworkers, good work/life balance most of the time. The culture is fast-paced and energetic, great for those who enjoy autonomy and a 'startup' feel.

Cons

Culture can tend toward being reactive rather than proactive Those looking for mature, stable internal processes might find the environment a bit chaotic.

Pros

Overall company is good, WLB is little better. It is better for someone who is having 15+ plus of experience. Not good for junior or senior engineer.

Cons

1) Not much of learning here, very minimal work. 2) If you want to learn here, please do not join, there is literally no work in company, it is established company and they are earning good with whatever client they have. 3) Till the time management was handled by US people they were handling good, they were giving proper hikes and incentive but from past 1 year the management in India is handled by Indian so they are not giving hikes also the HR will low bowled the offer for new joiners, although they will tell they have other perks like wellbeing allowance and mobile and internet. 4) Currently there focus is on marketing, they want company to be visible in India and they are putting all there funds and energy there only. 5) They dont value employees.

Pros

Join if - you want stable 10-5 job - Colleagues are friendly and helpful - Many talented people are stuck because of market poor condition - Good compensation

Cons

- Mandatory Work from office. Otherwise apply leave - AI is a buzz word. No innovation - Always there are people pull you back with security, privacy etc aspects - Don't fall for benefits. Free food is very bad. You endup taking from home. You can't reimburse daycare fees as no other school provide PAN - Process is too slow. Learning is 0. Too many internal tools and over complicated solution. Even after 2 years, my learning here is null. - No scope for open sourced tools / solutions. You end-up making api calls every time. No innovation - Quarterly LTA and yearly variables are strap. You can't move out from this.

Pros

The company offers strong learning opportunities by working with a modern, top-notch tech stack rather than legacy systems, which helps in building relevant technical skills. The work culture is positive and supportive, with great people and a collaborative environment supported by a flat organizational hierarchy. The office environment is well-maintained, and employees benefit from good facilities such as cab and food services. It is an excellent place for freshers to start their careers, given the exposure and continuous learning opportunities available. Initiatives like “Upskill Weeks” further encourage employees to take ownership of their growth and actively enhance their skill sets. Overall, it's a good place to work with positive work culture.

Cons

The company requires employees to work from the office for at least three days a week, which may feel restrictive for those who prefer fully remote or more flexible work arrangements.

Pros

— The culture is refreshingly open. You're free to approach and have conversations with Directors and VPs directly, which makes you feel valued and heard regardless of your level. — Guidewire works with the latest technologies in the industry and provides access to modern AI-powered tools and other productivity tools that genuinely make day-to-day work easier and more efficient. — The team follows industry-wide best practices like SDD and TDD, which ensures high-quality deliverables and helps you grow as a disciplined engineer. — The company regularly conducts sessions to help engineers improve their technical skills and grow in their careers. Dedicated upskill weeks are a standout initiative that shows real investment in employee development. — Various culture committees organize activities across technical and fun domains, supporting holistic growth — not just professional, but personal too. — Guidewire genuinely cares about its people. The health and mental well-being support is strong, backed by industry-best insurance coverage, complimentary meals, free cab facilities, and several other lifestyle perks. — The engineers here are top-notch, collaborative, and supportive. The overall vibe is warm — colleagues treat you like family, which makes coming to work genuinely enjoyable.

Cons

— The current work timings are strict with limited flexibility. While I understand this is being discussed with leadership, having some degree of flexibility would be a significant improvement. — The 3-day in-office policy (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday) is mandatory with no room for adjustment. A bit more flexibility in choosing in-office days would go a long way in improving work-life balance.

Pros

I’ve been working at this company as a Software Engineer for some time now, and I can confidently say that joining here has been one of the best decisions I’ve made in my career. From the very beginning, my experience exceeded expectations. The compensation package offered to me was actually higher than what I had initially asked for, which was a pleasant surprise. More importantly, after joining, it never felt like I had entered a typical corporate environment—it genuinely felt like a welcoming community. Everyone, including senior leadership, made a conscious effort to make me feel comfortable, almost as if they had been looking forward to my arrival. I’ve observed that this isn’t unique to me; many new joiners share a similar experience. The onboarding process was smooth and well-structured. Managers and team leads ensured that we had ample time, guidance, and resources to complete our initial training and knowledge transfer sessions without feeling rushed or overwhelmed. When it comes to work culture, the company truly stands out. There are flexible working hours and a hybrid model (3 days a week in the office), which helps maintain a healthy work-life balance. What impressed me the most is how approachable and supportive the leadership team is—managers and leads are always willing to step in, roll up their sleeves, and help resolve any challenges the team faces. Another highlight is the company’s forward-thinking approach toward technology. There is strong encouragement to explore and use AI tools, with full access to the necessary resources. Leadership actively appreciates such initiatives, which creates an environment of continuous learning and innovation. The workplace itself is thoughtfully designed, with a beautiful office environment that makes coming to work enjoyable. The company is clearly focused on building an inclusive culture where everyone feels comfortable and valued. They also provide delicious food with a variety of options from different cuisines, which adds to the overall experience. Regular in-office events help foster team bonding and keep the atmosphere lively. Beyond work, there are plenty of opportunities to engage in fun and wellness activities. The company organizes events such as marathons, hackathons, cricket, badminton, and more—encouraging employees to stay active and connected. What truly stands out is the collaborative spirit here—people are always willing to help each other, creating a supportive and positive environment. Additionally, the wellness perks provided by the company reflect a genuine commitment to employee health and well-being. Based on my personal experience and interactions with colleagues, the work environment here has been overwhelmingly positive, supportive, and growth-oriented. While individual experiences can vary, I believe the company is genuinely making strong efforts to create a great workplace for everyone. Overall, I would highly recommend this company to anyone looking for a supportive culture, growth opportunities, and a balanced work environment.

Cons

Of course, like any organization, there are areas for improvement. There have been some minor seating arrangement issues, but the good part is that the company is already aware of them and actively working on resolving them as quickly as possible.
