Unreasonable expectations for non-union management staff with the unending cost cutting to remain competitive with a union workforce. Long hours were normal and peers would shame you if you were sick. Scheduling vacation was unfair to anyone with a shorter length of service. Higher management in your department could schedule 5 weeks of vacation before the schedule was routed to everyone below in hierarchy until the person with least amount of years was left with literally one option for a week of summer vacation. Ridiculous and toxic environment.
