The whole interview process is ... not your typical driving interview as expected. But the training is not for the weak. I made it through pretty gracefully. Awesome trainers in the Secaucus,NJ.

Current UPS account manager looking for the next opportunity. I want to move into more of a finance role. Any tips/ suggestions? I have a business management degree, worked as an loan officer for 6 years and going into year 2 as an account manager. UPS
Recovering finance major here, current loader at UPS. What area are you in? I've begun reconsidering going back down the finance path myself (preload schedule is perfect for it since I could keep the sweet benes). Have you considered credit unions, both local and national? I'd be scared to cozy up to local/ regional banks after the SVB fiasco, but CUs tend to be more compelled to act in the best interest of their members, so probably a safer bet. I'm a member of Navy Fed CU, and can't say enough good about them. Just a thought.

It was all online and pretty easy. Made it less people interactive to get the job. They treat their interviewers like they treat their packages -very impersonally. but it really takes down some of the anxiety you might have about job interviewing or whatever if you’re one of those people.

Anybody have advice on how I can pivot out of an account manager role with UPS into something more finance oriented. I previously was a mortgage loan officer for 6 years and going on yr2 as business development account manager with UPS
The Strategy team is heavier on finance and long term forecasting, all I know is they prefer MBA candidates

I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at UPS (Los Angeles, CA)
theres no interview, they will email you all the steps, and you have to watch a short video they provide, and then if they select you, you will be oriented on where, and how to do your job etc.
- where do you see yourself in 5 years. basic questions

Anonymous Employee
The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at UPS
Straight forward - No take home assignments or anything beyond a standard interview. This is a pleasant surprise nowadays, especially in tech. Ensure that you can confidently speak on any process/technology listed on the job description and you should be ok.
