Pros
Great technology, and good perks (which I personally see as smoking mirrors, but still are good things to have), like unlimited sodas, gatorade and snacks, if you are straight out of college, or have only worked for small tier2 companies you will be very happy here indeed.
Cons
If you have worked for a true global technology leader (Microsoft, IBM, Oracle, SAP, EMC, etc.) don't waste your time coming to salesforce - they want you to be sitting in a cube all day and they mean it, you need to report your hours in and out for real, the accounts/territories are really bad; what they call General Business Corporate accounts are really SMALL to Mid-size companies - and if you get what they call Mid-Markek well good luck because will be literally selling to 50-employee companies. They (their executives) openly lied to me during the interview process to lure me into the role and and the end the accounts/territory I received was a total disappointment, and if that was not enough: I was given a territory totally different from the local territory we discussed and they ended up sending me to sell to states in a completely different region of the US in a different time zone. I'm out of here!
