I applied through other source. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at VMware in Feb 2010
Interview
Interviewer asked some very specific questions. Very platform based. While I know Unix, I didn't know the platform implementation. Since the interviewer wasn't technical, they didn't understand that my answer was correct. They offered to send me some refresher info on the particular platform, so I can answer the canned questions with their expected canned responses. That's in process.
