I applied online through their website and got a screening call from their office in South Africa. I thought it was a little weird that their recruiting was from South Africa, but KPMG is a global company so I wasn't too worried.
There was a follow up interview from KPMG Jamaica. Both of these interviews were pretty simple, just going over my experience, salary expectations, and what the next steps were.
Then came a phone screen with a US representative from HR doing another phone screen similar to the previous ones.
Next I had 2 interviews with members of the team I would presumably be joining. The first was mostly behavioral, going over my experience and how I would fit at the company. The second was with the technical head of the team and he went over my expectations on what I wanted to do, my experience, and a few technical questions that were pretty basic.
I had a final interview with a managing director talking more about my experience and behavioral stuff again. He went over what kind of projects they do and what I could expect.
Everyone was a pleasure to talk to, really open about answering any questions I had and super responsive. Overall a great experience, although it would have been nice to get more info about what exactly the job would be. However, I understand that with the nature of consulting, the job can change from project to project.
