Hypocrites!!

Pros

They do have a gym

Cons

No communication from the top Treated their staff like dirt during layoffs and refused to provide any reasons around why people lost their jobs. Used to be a vibrant place to work but atmosphere is now on the floor. Made up titles handed out left and right that mean nothing and only serve as an attempt to appease staff. Patronize staff regularly by ramming inclusion and diversity down their throats on a persistent basis. Top execs fly off on luxury holidays together while staff lose their jobs for no reason. Used to provide nice benefits such as free lunches and KitKats. No more KitKats!! Losing big clients every year and papering over the cracks with much smaller clients who won't spend anywhere near the same level on packages. All aboard the safety raft because the ship is slowly sinking!

Toxic culture - paying lip service to working human

Pros

Great colleagues, if you're lucky to join a good team. Nice offices. Good awards system (when applied fairly and consistently).

Cons

Dated technology and engineering practices, lacking true technology vision. I believe this has held back the development of the organisation (and even set it on a backward trajectory on occasion). They preach working human but there are certain groups within the organisation that are truly toxic to work in, which is driven from very senior leadership positions, and has been responsible for many talented people leaving. I have witnessed bullying and insulting behaviour, which I've discussed with others on the leadership team, but they accept that it's just the way things are and some longer-serving people will never be replaced. HR team are trying (too?) hard to win awards and accolades, to appear like a progressive workplace with great values, all the while ignoring the real problems within.

We continue to work hard to create a culture that is worthy of recognition, and to do that we need ongoing feedback. I would genuinely welcome the opportunity to speak with you in person and in confidence. Please reach out to me directly to connect. Kate Kidd

Pros

Internal recognition, remote working, gym

Cons

Outdated technology, declarations of improvements to be done for the last at least five years with no progress, poor management recruitment decisions. What worse is the breach of trust and poor communication. With the recent layoff plans a lot of people were placed into risk groups unnecessarily. This process is different from department to department and nobody seems to know if its even legal. Company response is very poor, delayed and by the book while people need answers now and proactively. Declarations of company being generous are simply not true compared to market companies in similar situation. Internal feedback tool has been disabled. The office recently expanded into second building introducing more space, meeting rooms and gym. What seemed like a fantastic benefit to have now becoming obvious of very poor planning with people being made redundant. I wonder how many jobs could have been saved.

Thank you for taking the time to write this review. The decision to restructure was an extremely difficult one for us and we are heartbroken by the decision. We’re committed to being generous and helpful with any individuals impacted. The “at risk” process is 100% guided by the legal requirements of a collective redundancy and is fully consistent across all departments. The people in the At Risk group have been provided with full information as we move through the 30 day consultation period and have self-appointed representatives for any specific queries to the leadership involved in the process. We appreciate this is an extremely challenging time and process for all involved. We are doing our best to make people feel supported and informed. The offer to discuss these reviews is genuine, please feel like you can approach me in confidence.
