Pros

Genuine human connection and collaboration. Great benefits. Autonomy and ability to share ideas that may create real change, at any level. Access to great AI tools and plenty of encouragement to experiment and learn.

Cons

At the end of the day, we are a business. We sell software. Sometimes in order to do that, we have to pivot direction fast or create deadlines that feel rushed. We aren't perfect - but you'd be hard pressed to find a company filled with better people who actually care about the work, the company mission, and about each other.

Thank you for sharing your experience. We appreciate experiences will differ but the experience you have shared here is very reflective of the experience for many people here, as evidenced by the comprehensive employee interviews we have conducted as part of our EVP redesign. We truly appreciate your contributions to the business and our culture.

Pros

- High calibre EMEA sales team and leadership - Well intended sales development - Decent base salary (though WH does not do annual increases) - Exceptional flexibility (if you want fully remote work) - One of the most sophisticated products in this industry and perhaps the best for large complex global organisations - Generally very kind people throughout the org - Extensive use of the WH product - the company is 'client zero' and that is a good thing

Cons

- Curious culture - for instance there is an intensely 'inward' focus and the primary acknowledgement of 'competion' is to deride it - US centric - lags behind smaller recognition companies in terms of regional market understanding, localised product expertise and client support etc. - Inflexible / slow to change - many issues highlighted (and discussed) 2 years ago are still challenges today - Commercial targets for reps are outdated and when you 'dig' quite arbitrary - there are teams far less likely to succeed from the outset - Comp plan (which does reward good deals) is far too opaque for the average sales person to understand even after recent upgrades - Lead gen problems - SDR and marketing maturity, capability, metrics etc. is a long standing issue widely discussed and yet still way below par (your mindset should be: 'I need to be self sufficient') - Extremely flat structure (in EMEA Sales specifically) means there isn't really room to grow (totally fine, if you are OK with getting comfortable in a role)
