Pros

lots of learning and exposure different methodologies, verticals good benefits and decent salaries if you know how to talk and BS your way, then you will survive

Cons

joining at a Sr. Level can be tough, as you have to build your own network and reach out to some of the partners, some could be 10 years junior to solicit your service and your industry contact. Priority and allegiance is given to ACN folks that started out with the firm, regardless of their performance, they are protected and not kept on the bench compared to outsiders. Acquired companies have a sort of protective status when it comes to staff reduction. If you are a Caucasian middle age man joining the firm, with no solid internal backing like former colleague, alumni or a unique project to stay for a while, then you have to learn the ropes quickly, basically sink or swim Post hiring HR is a joke, I have worked for so many companies and never experience such inapt, antipathetic crew during the separation.

Pros

There are a lot of pros working for Accenutre. They have great career opportunities, a never ending supply of interesting work, competitive compensation, wonderful benefits, great people, wonderful training programs, a tremendous number of brilliant professionals in their fields ready to help, and great core values.

Cons

This is not an opportunity for those that do not want to work. At Accenture everyone has a load of work to do and often times under very tight customer time lines. It is a challenge that I enjoy but many might find it stressful.
