I have been working at Emma full-time for less than a year

    Pros

Nice environment. Friendly people. Some learning opportunities for graduates.

    Cons

Low salary. No compensation. High turnover (mainly because a lot of staffs are interns). The company may not seem to have hierarchy but clearly has own inner circle and is not so much start-up anymore.

    Advice to Management

Appreciate people with work experiences and allocate responsibilities accordingly

I have been working at Emma full-time

    Pros

    - Fast paced (learning) startup environment - Lots of freedom to navigate and try out new things - People seem open to feedback and improvement - Friendly atmosphere - Trust in eachother seems to carry the company as of now

    Cons

    - Fast paced startup environment (If you're someone who wants easy money, don't bother applying) - Lack of people due to fast growth - The traffic lights in front of the building take ages to let you cross ;p

    Advice to Management

Keep hiring ambitious young people and all will be just great

I worked at Emma full-time for less than a year

    Pros

Many interesting projects Good chance to improve your Office skills Good customer service experience Marketing projects (Contact content creators, influencers) Analyze reports, people analytics, instagram influencers stats Team work Gym is paid for by the company German classes are paid for by the company Open-minded people FREE COFFEE <3

    Cons

Very low salaries (half the minimum wage) It is important to be careful about the people/relationships you develop because something you say can be turned against you. Very often it feels like an actual customer-service job, rather than an internship.

    Advice to Management

Go green! Invest in environmentally-friendly products and get rid of PLASTIC BOTTLES. Give all employees a water bottle they can refill. Pay your interns the minimum wage (no matter how long the internship is).

    Neutral Outlook

I have been working at Emma full-time for more than 8 years

    Pros

Young, open and fun environment; nice events; free fruits and good coffee; challenging taks; very international company

    Cons

Salary is mostly disrespectful and not fair in comparison to the responsibilities; position structure very poor which makes it difficult the salary baseline to be honest and also it is hard to the employee to figure out the next career steps.

    Advice to Management

Better benchmark within the salaries and structure asap the positions (it is very weird everyone being either manager or intern)

I have been working at Emma full-time for less than a year

    Pros

You learn a lot of new things and get to be your own boss in one way. Both full-time and interns are seen as valuable and get interesting and important tasks

    Cons

Salary is sometimes not very competitive

    I worked at Emma

    Pros

Culture Diversity People Responsibility given from first day. Easy to switch roles within the company after you have worked for 5-6 months in a role. Flat hierarchy.

    Cons

Salary not competitive. Not a very structured company ( understandable as it is a startup)

I have been working at Emma full-time for less than a year

    Pros

Inspiring company culture celebrating agility and rational decisions, super-flat hierarchies, no company politics, strong chances to grow and challenge oneself

    Cons

Wages are not unfair, but could be higher (though understandable as company is still a startup), not for everyone as growth and agility require flexibility
