    Application

I applied online. I interviewed at IKEA.

    Interview

The overall interview experience was very pleasant! I initially applied online through IKEA's website. A few weeks later I received an email asking for an interview and with a small design exercise attached which had to be completed before the interview. My interviewers were two women who were extremely friendly and the interview was more of a casual chat. They asked me questions about my portfolio, how I would react in certain situations etc.

They even offered guidance on whether this role would be suitable for my long-term goals, it was clear they cared about you as a person too.

Even though I did not get an offer in the end, overall this was a very great experience.

  • Last week's #SCOTUS ruling on #DACA recipients still has us smiling. We have a long history of standing with #Dreamers and believe that DACA recipients - which include IKEA co-workers and their families - contribute to our business and our society in immeasurable ways.
