Proudly 100% Irish privately owned business, Glenhaven Foods was first established in 1986 in Avoca. Our head office is a purpose-built facility comprising of two separate factories and is home to over 180 colleagues located just outside Arklow, Co. Wicklow, in the picturesque ‘Garden of Ireland’.

Position Summary

Assist the NPD team with preparing ingredients, conducting recipe trials, and supporting new product development activities.
Maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene, and kitchen organisation throughout all trials. Accurately record results and help prepare samples for tastings, presentations, and production trials.

Duties:

• Responsible for preparing customer samples and delivering high quality work.
• To organise and prepare product samples for dispatch to customers daily. To track and document these deliveries.
• To assist the NPD team in delivering product & innovation presentations to customers.
• Co-ordination of benchmarking of competitor products.
• Completion of cooking guidelines and validations for products.
• Preparing products for nutritional analysis.
• Assist in managing the development kitchen to a safe working environment and ensuring it is maintained in a clean manner.
• To assist the NPD team leading factory trials and documenting results.
• Take part in idea generation with the NPD and Sales teams.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced operation.

Qualifications:

• A Food Science background or qualification is an advantage, but not essential.
• Previous experience within a kitchen environment

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: €28,700.00-€30,000.00 per year
