I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at VMware (Singapore) in Aug 2021
Interview
Had call with HR and asked why VMWare and told me that, based on the answer Hiring manager will proceed. Somehow my answer was accepted then
1. Spoke to Hire manager - if he/she finds good then he will move to next level otherwise no go.. (HR told me)
2. Spoke to Solution Engineer
3. Nothing came back
Ping me HR and no reply.
Looks bad because of HR practice or people?
Learn to respond to candidate the outcome. Otherwise, slowly, the company will be treated _____
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
1. Why VMware?
2. Why VMware Tanzu?
3. Why now?
Very high caliber question on Cloud.
The most insulting process ever. Even with an internal referral from a Staff Solutions Engineer I got a random generated note within 8 hours saying sorry. No explanation. No way to get a hold of people. This was for Carbon Black. I have a great resume when it comes to EDR.
