I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at UPS (Grand Forks, ND) in Sept 2010
Interview
I answered an online job service ad. The interview was automatic if you filled out the on-line resume, along with some basic job eligibility questions; like if you have had a DUI in the last 3 years. The interview seemed like a formality, there is a pre-qual online course you must complete in order to be considered for the job as well. They have not Emailed me the pre-qual course yet, the interview took place only to days ago. There is also a road test and a DOT physical before employment will be considered.
During the interview they stated that the company's ideal candidate would be someone that had a job starting 1Jan or something like that, someone that they knew for sure would not quit for a permanent position

Question 1
Can u completely commit to a seasonal job at UPS right now?
I applied online. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at UPS (Wichita, KS) in Oct 2025
Interview
Started out with some online videos about how difficult the work is. Then after being asked several times if I still wanted to continue the process, I was offered an opportunity to schedule a driving test. I scheduled a test, completed the test with a UPS manager who gave me ample opportunity to practice on the UPS lot before heading out onto the street. The interview process was limited other than some questions about driving experience prior to the drive the questions were limited. However, after being told that I had passed the driving test and that my test results would be submitted the same day, things got weird. I recieved a phone call the following morning around 8 AM stating that I was scheduled for a driving test that morning prior to the phone call and that I had not shown up. Then I contacted the employment line and they said that my driving test results were not submitted. UPS has invented a simple way to discriminate against anyone and everyone simply by lying, engaging in deceptive business practices (internally rescheduling a driving test appointment that was already completed) and then claiming that you have not shown up at the rescheduled time.

Question 1
What do you know about UPS besides "we deliver packages."
I applied through other source. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at UPS (Aberdeen, MD)
Interview
Briefly touched on work prior experience, interview mainly consisting of a test drive, followed by UPS driver course. Online portion lasted for a week, followed by an in-person week long course. Concluded with a week of ride-alongs before becoming a full time driver.
Horrible hiring practice, training done online and when I got to the driving test that they called me to schedule, no one there had any idea I was coming and I didn’t even end up being able to do it .
