I applied through other source. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at UPS (Goleta, CA) in Jun 2012
Interview
Hired as a part time loader work through probationary period then you are eligible for promotion after submitting a letter requesting to be a part time supervisor. Then there is an aptitude test and an interview as part of a larger process. The hiring process was long drawn out and very bureaucratic. It took a long time due to lazyness on the center manager's part and not knowing how to promote. Make sure you stay on your boss so he gets it done.
Easy … just show up and give them everything THEY want to hear . Talk about ups like you live and breathe it and also about how you want to make the company better
I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at UPS (Lakeland, FL) in Jun 2024
Interview
Very Unprofessional
As soon as I got to the interview area, two managers got up and left. I had never felt so discriminated and ignored by the manager and the interviewer, which at the most had around twenty years old. If you have more than fifty years old, do not apply because they will not even look at you. Very frustrating experience.
If you prove your worth then you'll be asked to be a part-time supervisor. It was simple. I was asked if I wanted to be a supervisor, and they told me how much the pay increase was, and I said, "Yes."
