I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Ross Stores in Oct 2013
Interview
I applied online to Ross and it took about a week for them to call me back for an interview. When I went in, she only asked if I wanted to do the job that was available and she asked what days I would be available.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
The interview was all together easy. No hard questions were asked.
The interview process at Ross Dress for Less consisted of meeting with a store manager to discuss my customer service experience, cash handling skills, and ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment. I was asked situational questions about handling customers, teamwork, and resolving problems. The process was straightforward and focused on my availability, work ethic, and ability to support store operations
Fast and easy! They mainly asked about my previous work experiences and my availability. They also asked what great customer service is like to you and why I would be a good fit to the company.
I was interviewed over the phone and than asked to come in person. So I could meet the team and talk to them. It wasn't too hard but it was kind of a waste as I didn't get a call back.
