I applied online and within a few days received an email asking to schedule a quick phone screen interview. I had to wait about 7 days for mine and I even picked the first available time slot. The phone interview took about 6 minutes, and they went over quick questions such as why nordstroms? are you comfortable with commission and what is your experience with it? How would you greet me if i were your customer? In the end I did ask a question on how their commission structure worked. The next day I got a call from the department mgr, and interviewed 1 on 1 3 days later. It took about 20 minutes. Started off by asking about availability and explaining pay rate and more on the commission. FYI that area is 100% commission. Questions were simple. Explain a time where you had to convince someone of something? Have you ever dealt with conflict and how did you handle it? Received a call the next day and was offered the position.
