Summited resume via its website. After two weeks received an email to schedule a one hour interview call. The interview consists of genetic visual merchandising course questions rather than actual skill set. After the interview, the VM gives feedback what could have been said and how to excel at the interview for future reference.

What is the most important thing about visual merchandising?
It was an easy experience. I went in early before the store was open. I had to pull together looks for three mannequins. The interview was one on one with the hiring manager.

Interview
very straight forward and simple. Want to make sure you understand visual merchandising and is comfortable with using basic tools. Be prepared to do a mock styling based on a trend given to you.
Standard merchandising question, what does merchandising mean to you, Who are your favorite retailers and what stands out to you the most about them? Then an outfit pull and that is it.
