If you have been previously employed by Nordstrom, have a good report with HR at your store, have aspirations to move up in the company, and are consistently at least a two selling wise, in my experience, the hire process for the internship is pretty simple! I will also say that it is important to be vigilant about the application process. As I said, if you have previously been employed by Nordstrom, it's not really a big deal, since the application is basically the same. However, you want to make sure that you pay attention to the date the application opens and submit it ASAP. I know some people that submitted it a week late and were still placed in a good internship, but if you wait too long you might not get a placement of your choosing or a placement at all. Be a real go-getter in you interview and be prepared to show off all your strengths and know exactly why you want this internship. I was offered my two top choice positions at the end of the interview and was told I had two weeks to chose between them.
