I had multiple interviews that started with the HR Manager. It was focused on my background and experience and why I wanted the position. The next interview was with the Manager, then finally, the Director.

One recruiter call and three rounds (one with hiring manager, one with person on another team, one with hiring manager’s boss). Recruiter sold a different job and lifestyle than what hiring manager’s boss did. The responsibilities were also not transparent, compared to job description. Overall seemed like a team that valued tenure, titles, and face time. There didn’t seem like much trust in employees, not enough to not be on camera. Also was not a diverse team and came off very intense.
