I applied online. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at HubSpot (Dublin, Dublin) in Apr 2018
Interview
I applied with Hubspot’s website. As I was not available before 3 months, the process took me about a month and a half. I went to an interview in Hubspot Dublin office in April 2018.
I went through 4 steps during the interview process : 1 video interview with a webcam to talk about myself and my resume, then 1 phone interview with someone from the HR team, 1 phone interview with the position’s manager. And 3 interviews in Dublin office with someone from the Customer success team, the position’s manager and a product test with someone from the product team.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
For the first video interview :
What do you like to do in your free time ?
What is your favorite software / relationship with technology ?
What do you want to learn from this position ?
How does this role fit in your career path ?
Why do you want to work for Hubspot
Then it was more related to the position and my past experiences. My advice is to read and read again the culture fit / their blog about HR / watch their videos about inbound marketing / try the product
Thanks so much for taking the time to write a review and we're glad you'll be joining us! It is a 5 step interview process, with the 1st one being a phone screening, then a video call/interactive assignment, and then finally three 30 minute back to back interviews for the 3rd and final round.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at HubSpot in Apr 2026
Interview
Three rounds:
-Screening with recruiter
-Technical (live troubleshooting with a manager)
-Behavioral (3-30 minute interviews with managers)
The recruiter offers prep sessions before the 2nd and 3rd rounds. Take advantage of them as they’ll explicitly walk you through how to prepare.
Long hiring process; about 3 to 4 rounds in total. First was with HR for screening call. She was very friendly and professional. Good experience and she even gave me feedback post-interview to help me improve.
