I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at H&M (Louisville, KY) in Jul 2015
Interview
I received an e-mail about a job hiring event . I was the first person to be interviewed.. Sat waiting for an 1 1/2 hour for the 2nd interview. It was really unorganized. In the e-mail they didn't specify positions . The event was solely for sales advisors. After the 2nd interview it was clear I couldn't work for them because I don't have open availability and I have too much experience to start out bottom tier. I was looking for management. Anyone with a school schedule clearly can't be management or full-time. Kind of sad. IMO
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at H&M
Interview
It was a group interview. They asked us about fashion and what we know about H&M and it’s background. We also had a task in groups to come up with good answers to the questions given, we also had to present.
It was a group interview, we did group tasks like styling people for different occasions and answering . It was pretty focused on the company values and if you have a love for fashion.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Style a customer who came in looking for an outfit for a job interview, their personal style is 'streetwear'
It was a group interview, about 8 of us. We had to basically work together on different scenarios and answer the questions the manager asked us. She also put us on the spot and individually asked us questions. I got 'who inspires you the most.'
