I applied online. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at H&M (Gainesville, FL) in Apr 2015
Interview
I applied to H&M at the beginning of April 2015 and got a call from them a month later at the beginning of May. I had 3 total interviews with H&M. The first one was a phone screening, in which I was asked very general questions about myself and as to why I chose to apply to H&M. At the end of the phone interview, I was scheduled for a 1 on 1 interview with the store manager a few days after.
At the 1 on 1 interview, I was asked a lot of repetitive questions about my past sales experience. There were also several questions that were repeated from the phone interview. At the end of the interview, the manager invited me to a group interview for the following day.
At the group interview, we were tasked with performing several interactive tasks while the interviewers watched us and took notes. At the end, we were informed we would hear back with final job decisions in a week and a half, at the latest.
I applied online. I interviewed at H&M (Dundalk) in Mar 2026
Interview
It was lovely, very interactive. Getting to meet new people, seeing the H&M store was really nice. The supervisor was really professional and warm. First we got to know each other, then did a question and answers round with everyone, situation based, customer service based, questions to display your skills etc, talking about H&M values and then we had a group task, to come with a outfit based on the provided situation.
I applied online. I interviewed at H&M (Brighton, England) in Jan 2026
Interview
Group interview, asked us questions like what's our hobbies and why do we want to work at H&M. We then had to work in pairs to choose the importance of certain scenarios that we may come across. We then were given a scenario in a group and had to go around the shop and choose an outfit suitable for that scenario. We ended the interview being asked two random questions about the brand or anything in general.
