Interview
I applied online. 3 months later I get an auto-rejection e-mail. My actual application matched everything on their JD - lazy recruitment process where they rely on AI’s to do their work.
A long, drawn-out ~10 week process. It took 3 weeks to set up the initial interview. It took another 3 weeks to set up the second round interview. After the second round, I was told they want me to continue to the panel round but they hired someone already for the role so they need to see if they can get an additional headcount. I was also transferred from my original recruiter to a second recruiter. 2 weeks later I was told they got the headcount and will continue with the interview process. The panel round was scheduled for a week later and split across 2 days of 3 1-hour interviews each day. After that wrapped up, I was told that it could be several weeks before I hear a decision since they like to make sure all of the candidates complete the process. This is blatantly not true since earlier they stopped my candidacy mid-process when they hired someone. It took another 2 weeks to hear back with a rejection. The recruiter did a follow-up call with feedback about my interviews. On the flip side, the people I interviewed with were all pleasant, high-caliber people who led with a lot of empathy, understanding, and good questions meant to elicit a genuine back-and-forth conversation.
