I have been working at Dropbox full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

You're treated as a person, not a number.

As they say, Their core values are used as a compass, not a hammer.

If you have a advanced skillset, you can apply it to an upcoming project, this place wants you to do what you can.

There is always something cool happening in the office!
The Tuckshop is literally Michelin star cooking

    James and Piotr in Dropstop.

The Work culture, everyone is excited to step out of their comfort zone, everyone does their work and helps up lift anybody struggling, the environment is so uplifting.

I could go on and on..best place I've work and eager to grow there.

The perks are some of the best I have ever seen across any industy.

    Cons

If I was to nitpick, Could use Dyson dryers in the bathrooms

    Advice to Management

I worked at Dropbox full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    - Great benefits
    - Flexible (working from home)
-Very nice and smart people to work with
    - Great product

    Cons

    - no career path
    - some managers have no experience and less knowledge than employees and is very difficult to cooperate with such people e.g. nasty comments, texting employees over weekends and evenings
    - there is no chance for you unless you become friends with management. This kind of friendships are being taken to extreme that at some point regular employees feels excluded
    - micromanagement
    - too many contractors
    - lack of training
    - management behaves like in playschool

    Advice to Management

Hire experienced managers with people skills and develop HR department so issues can be spotted

I have been working at Dropbox full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

The culture at Dropbox is warm and inclusive, with real honesty and an open attitude. It's also a very customer focused environment, with the user at the heart of everything we do.

    Cons

Decision making can be a challenge when everyone has an equal say.

    Advice to Management

Continue to be visible in all your offices

I have been working at Dropbox full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

The opportunities to do new, different and interesting things while making a difference to the bottom line. The company and offices have a great vibe of fun and inclusiveness. The benefits are also amazing, especially the food in SF and Dublin.

    Cons

Quick growth mean things change a lot (which can be an issue sometimes) and some foundational work has yet to be done.

    Advice to Management

Keep doing what your doing mostly but constantly make sure the ship is heading in the right direction. Also, maybe save some $ and cut the silly swag.

    Cons

Few formal growth opportunities, poor management in some teams

    Advice to Management

Please invest in management training, and stop this power politics

I have been working at Dropbox full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

As a former consultant, I've worked to many companies. None of them were half as good as Dropbox.
Dropbox offers many incredible perks (free food worth Michelin star, gym, events, smartphone and phone plan, etc), but what makes it amazing place to work is:
    - the people - Dropbox hires the best profiles and puts the stress on values: being humble, team player, ambitious but caring, interesting, from diverse backgrounds, etc.
    - impact - no one will care if you're an intern or the CEO as long as you have a great idea. At Dropbox, you can change the world if you want to!

    Cons

It's a company with a fast paced environment, with a start up vibe.
If you're into this, then what are you waiting for?

    Advice to Management

    No advice.

I worked at Dropbox (Less than a year)

    Pros

Good perks & benefits, free food and junk but that’s just to reel you in I believe

    Cons

Too competitive, no time invested in new recruits/no training, very critical environment if you’re not trying to make friends with all senior level managers, staff segregation, false job advertising. Watch out for some ppl in cx Tools

    Advice to Management

Spend a little more time training your staff members and stop expecting a miracle when you haven’t done so

I have been working at Dropbox full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    - Lots of intelligent people around, great learning environment. Biggest thing is everyone really cares about each other. Makes such a difference.
-Food is definitely best in industry
    - Really cool product, so many people use Dropbox for such great things

    Cons

    - HQ is in San Fran, and most of product is made there. Dublin is a sales office, and as such cares mainly about revenue. There is a divide between those two, and not all information flows to Dublin.

    Advice to Management

You've done great work on culture, Dropbox is an awesome place to work. I think the Sales people need more product training, and the more we can keep EMEA aligned with SF the better!
