What is the salary like at Marks & Spencer?

They offer extensive training, with two induction sessions. The pay is above minimum wage and staff receive a 20% discount. At my store, we get free food at the end of the shift if any of it expires that day. On Christmas Eve we all got to pick flowers.

It's the same every shift, whether putting out deliveries, tidying the shop floor, or assisting on tills. It's both a pro and a con, it can get boring sometimes.

Forced you to sign a document to say you would be available over festive period, I am a student so was going home over this time and my manager was fully aware of this at interview. I couldn't sign so I had to resign.
