Not only does her life take place at different locations, but also in her job as Senior Manager Manufacturing Global, she is always in exchange with 10 Bosch locations worldwide. 🌍 Her team's tasks are very versatile – from strategic to operational ones. For her, it’s crucial to create a sense of belonging – within the international production network as well as within her team. Frequent virtual exchanges combined with bi-annual face-to-face workshops foster a collaborative spirit among the team members spread across the globe. She also promotes seamless collaboration within her team in different ways – one is regularly celebrating achievements with common “milestone breakfasts”.
Imagine having to present an artificial intelligence (AI) training video and not speak the language required. 🤔 No problem for Ha Mai Lan, one of our Bosch AI Enabling Trainers. She delivers generative AI (GenAI) training videos not only in English but also in German – thanks to her AI-generated avatar. 🤖🎥 Mai Lan's goal is to demonstrate how GenAI can enhance daily work and productivity. Whether it's for simple tasks like checking errors in emails or reports or assisting with complex machine learning tasks. For her, it's important not only to give associates the opportunity to use GenAI, but also to raise awareness of how GenAI works and to create a platform where knowledge is shared and collaboration is possible.

Sustainability and business need to go hand in hand." 🙌 Friederike is responsible for sustainability topics at the Bosch Home Comfort Group.🏡 Joining our doctoral program in 2010, she has dedicated herself to anchoring sustainability in the company's strategy. In the past two years, Friederike's team has worked on the following focus topics: 🌿 The CO2 strategy, tackling CO2 emissions in the supply chain and during product usage. These emissions are influenced by various factors, both internal (e.g., design, materials) and external (e.g., housing insulation, energy grid mix). The team supports the goal of the Bosch Home Comfort Group to reduce such CO2 emissions. 🌿 Lifecycle Assessment (LCA): Utilizing scientific methods, data, and tools for a holistic sustainability evaluation of products. 🌿 Sustainable Packaging: introducing eco-friendly materials, e.g. replacing EPS with paper pulp, and packaging standardization and modularization to increase efficiency. What Friederike has been particularly proud of since she started leading the sustainability team in 2022: Bringing together a team of motivated individuals who are passionate about sustainability, all working collaboratively to turn the wheel for meaningful change. 🤝
