✈️ From the cockpit to the quality department: Vit, a two-time Czech national champion in glider aerobatics, brings a unique perspective to his role at Bosch. The sense of perspective he gains in the sky, especially while flying inverted, helps him navigate challenges on the ground with greater calm, distance, and a clear focus on what's essential. "Time spent in the air is a form of meditation for me," Vit explains. "You focus solely on the moment." This balance sharpens his mind and gives him the motivation to deliver high-quality results at work. He is the perfect example of how a personal passion can elevate a professional career.

For Bosch, sustainability means balancing our economic, environmental, and social responsibilities. This is the mission our associates bring to life across the globe, actively making a real difference in their communities. 💛 In Poland, our #MotherEmpower mentoring program supports women from outside the organization, returning to the workforce after a maternity break, helping them to rebuild confidence and successfully restart their professional journeys. 💛 In the U.S., our Women@Bosch network ran a drive for a local homeless shelter that helps people get back on their feet through job training, resume building, and other skills, providing essentials like food and winter jackets to support them on their journey. 💛 In the United Kingdom, our associates use our professional power tools to help build new facilities for charities and local communities, creating a lasting positive impact.
At Bosch, "Invented for life" is more than just a slogan – it's the purpose that drives everything we do. It inspires us to create technology that sparks enthusiasm, improves quality of life, and helps conserve our natural resources. But a purpose is only as strong as the culture that supports it. We are committed to creating an environment where our teams can do their best work. This means sticking together with a clear mission and living by the core values that have shaped us for decades. 🌟 In the United Kingdom, our associates created the "Journeys That Shape Us" podcast, a platform for sharing inspiring personal stories, building a culture of empathy and connection by giving a voice to diverse life experiences. 🌟 In Germany, our community Mediation@Bosch of certified mediators is fostering a positive change in conflict culture by offering easy, free, and confidential support from colleagues, for colleagues. This approach not only cultivates a culture of understanding but also generates significant cost savings for Bosch. 🌟 In Mexico, our associates help expats feel right at home by organizing Spanish language workshops and cultural onboarding sessions. This fosters a welcoming, inclusive, and collaborative environment where everyone can thrive.
How can a global technology company make a difference in a local neighborhood? That's the question that inspired the Bosch Café Lab in Tianjin, China; a unique pilot community store designed to showcase our healthy living solutions and bring our innovative spirit to the local community. The Bosch Café Lab is more than just a store – it’s a space where we spread the Bosch culture. From exclusive beverage and snack services to free laundry facilities and engaging workshops, we aim to create a welcoming environment that fosters connection and collaboration.
At Bosch, the student programs are diverse and designed to combine academic knowledge with hands-on industry experience. Whether as an intern, working student, or PreMaster, participants gain practical insights, develop their skills, and contribute to meaningful projects. Husan Bano, Marius Mayer, and Alisia Jermendy are three of many talents currently part of Bosch’s student programs. They apply their knowledge in a practical environment, tackle complex challenges, and collaborate with a global community - continuously growing both personally and professionally.
The World Sustainable Transport Day reminds us of the vital role that safe, affordable, and sustainable transportation systems play in our lives. While commuting to work can often be a challenge, at Bosch, we’re dedicated to making it as enjoyable and convenient as possible. Thus, many of our Bosch locations offer our associates unique commuting options: In Shanghai, a fleet of buses allows our associates to relax, chat, and enjoy a coffee without the stress of traffic. In Germany, our CityLink connects downtown Stuttgart with our Bosch headquarters and research campus, providing a free mobility option for all associates. 🚍 And at the Bosch Engineering Center Cluj, associates can even rent e-bikes for commuting or weekend use. 🚲
We believe that effective feedback helps people to grow. That’s why our Quick Feedback feature makes it easy to give and request feedback in real time, strengthening our feedback culture and supporting personal development across the company. Quick Feedback creates space for open, appreciative, and actionable exchange. By using the AID method (Action, Impact, Do Differently), associates can express observations clearly, understand their effects, and focus on what to continue or improve. “Quick Feedback helped me become more aware of how I communicate,” says Jaqueline Gallegos, Purchasing Manager for Turned and Forged Parts. “I learned that sometimes I can sound very direct, even when I mean it respectfully. The tool provides full transparency and allows feedback across teams, not just with managers. It helps me react faster and adjust my approach right away. I find it so valuable that I make sure to use it several times a year.”
When Dagmar Kauffmann, senior tax expert at Bosch, sought a purposeful hobby, she discovered more than she expected. Four years ago, she and three friends took over a vineyard that was about to close. What began as a rescue mission quickly turned into a passion project. "I love working in nature with like-minded people. Teamwork and support are as crucial here as they are at Bosch," says Dagmar, who has been with the company for 25 years. From pruning vines in winter to harvesting grapes in September, her work on the hillside requires focus, resilience, and care – qualities she has cultivated over decades at Bosch. The result? A thriving vineyard, a renewed sense of purpose, and the joy of sharing a glass of rosé with friends after a hard day's work.
