As pride month draws to a close, our support of all D&I continues year-round. Our BeProud community aim to create an inclusive and safe space where everyone can bring their whole selves to work. As part of our celebrations of Dublin Pride on Saturday, we asked some of our colleagues what pride means to them.
At Cpl, we actively promote inclusive leadership and equality at work. We want our people to feel like they can bring their whole selves to work, and belong regardless of their background. With D&I being a core focus, we were thrilled to be shortlisted for 'Diversity, Equality & Inclusion Initiative' in Business & Finance Media Group's ESG awards. We are committed to continuing our efforts and championing diversity throughout the business.
Cpl is proud to announce that we have raised just under €50,000 for Ukraine Red Cross. This was made possible through both employee personal donations and doubled by Company contribution. We’d like to thank all those who donated for their generosity. Our heartfelt sympathies are with the people of Ukraine and we continue to support our colleagues, candidates, and clients that have been personally impacted.
Earlier this year Cpl was awarded Silver status from EcoVadis in recognition of our sustainability achievements, placing us within the top 25% of companies assessed (c90,000 annually) for sustainability performance. We are extremely proud of all the work that has been carried out throughout the company to help achieve Silver status and are committed to extending Cpl’s sustainability strategy even further in 2022.
Last Friday, we held our 'Annual Gala' in Dublin's RDS. It was fantastic to meet our colleagues that many of us haven't seen in over 2 years and to celebrate 32 years of Cpl. The ball was also a special opportunity to thank and pay tribute to the wonderful Anne Heraty and to celebrate the future of Cpl in the hands of the brilliant Lorna Conn. Here's to the future!

In January 2022, Lorna Conn was announced as the new Chief Executive Officer at Cpl as founder Anne Heraty stepped down from the role after 31 years. The whole Cpl team would like to wish Anne all the best as she steps back from the day-to-day running of the company she built from the ground up.
