Yesterday, we were delighted to host Cpl's annual Ability Day to mark 'International Day of Disabled Persons' this Sunday. The day is recognised every year at Cpl to highlight issues and challenges relating to the inclusion of persons with disabilities, promote awareness about disability issues and draw attention to the benefits of an inclusive and accessible society.
Yesterday, Cpl hosted our first-ever Diwali Festival celebration. At the hybrid event, we learnt about Diwali’s meaning and Indian culture. We were honoured to be joined by the Indian Ambassador, Akhilesh Mishra and his wife Reeti Mishra.
We are delighted to be certified with Great Place to Work Ireland again this year. Great Place To Work uses a framework which measures trust across 5 key areas in an organisation. At Cpl, we believe there is a direct correlation between our trust score, our culture and our performance. When we trust one another as colleagues, in our management and leadership teams, we achieve amazing things together.
On Thursday the 1st of June, we launched our Cpl Pride month activities with a Drag Bingo hybrid event, hosted by Davina Devine. This was the first hybrid event we have held from our new Dublin headquarters and we are delighted to say it was a great success. A huge congratulations to all our winners on the day. We look forward to the month of activities we have lined up!
It has been a momentous week for us at Cpl as we opened our new HQ in Dublin. After three years apart, we look forward to working alongside our Dublin-based colleagues in person again and adapting to new ways of working.
