Pros

Great work/life balance. Depending on manager it can be flexible (work from home, holiday purchase scheme etc) Some talented people who manage to escape and want to help you escape as well. Good name for the CV, but pretty much that is it

Cons

No development opportunities whatsoever! No career path at least in Dublin. Leadership is an unknown word! No pay reviews at all! No permanent contacts Management does not care if people leave. Obviously they don't even try to keep them.

Humiliation & bullying the norm

Pros

Very little positive here, some support staff are good to work with. The toilets were clean I guess. The London office has a gym on site.

Cons

A culture of humiliation & bullying. Top mgmt behave as an old boys club & work to crush even the successful members of staff. Very little support or coaching from incompetent mgmt. the philosophy is that the doers can always do more & should be treated with suspicion always. There's an open hostility towards lower level staff. From a customer perspective, the need to drive quarterly numbers means the clients best needs are never a real consideration, additionally post sales support is minimal. This all makes for a very unsustainable business model.

Xerox, or where the lame go to die

Pros

Good Work/Life Balance. Team Members and other staff helpful and have a good attitude. Globally recognised brand, looks good on a resume. Convenient location to get too and from. 'It's not rocket science'. Opportunity to work across many countries and with different people. If you can spell your name right 75% of the time you will be a star. Its right beside PayPal, so when you get a job there you don't have to change your bus route...

Cons

Where do I start...... No Pay rises for over six years now. No Pay rise if you get a 'promotion', job vacancies are filled exclusively by people hired from outside the company. No money for Professional Training or Development. High levels of churn, everyone who can is leaving. No Career development path, stated policy of 'offshoring' middle management roles. No permanent jobs, all FTC's. Steady increase of roles and functions of sister site in Portugal, obvious that Dublin centre has no more than 18-24 months of life left. Rampant Cronyism at senior levels, its 'jobs for the boys' all round. Large amounts of staff just holding on for redundancies, 0 motivation. Scrooge like penny-pinching. Tolerance of a level of incompetency that is shocking.
