Great opportunities for those who wish to work hard and progress. Good pay and benefits package (including pension and Healthcare). Work/life balance also seen as important.

Management very metrics-driven. Strong emphasis on trying to explain figures to upper management rather than putting time into developing people who report to them.

    Advice to Management

Hang in there if you're a manager! Lots of ambiguity to deal with, lots of changing priorities, plenty of politics. It wasn't for me but I think there were other managers who enjoyed their roles.
My advice to upper management would be to stop hiding behind metrics, stop assigning so much weight to them, and free up your teams to be more effective.
