Pay! Will not make much unless you have many, many years of experience. OTR is a non money maker, dedicated or regional work is best to make a decent check. 34 hour resets for dedicated or regional jobs. OTR hometime sucks and they monitor how much you come home and how long you stay home. Load dispatching can be bad depending where you are located at times.

Poor management hard to get home

Not home every night, shop in Sumner is a joke. Every time you have to take your truck for service or have something fixed the techs act like it's such an inconvenience to them. Pay could be better but it's not bad either.

You'll never get paid for how hard they work you or desire you to give and ultimately just make you feel like a cog they will switch out once you say anything about the mistreatment and cut you out of any loads so you make no money and you have to find another job. Should be illegal but it isnt.

No real cons for Swift but the OTR lifestyle isn't for everyone. The industry in general is in a rough place with low freight prices. You can still make good money but don't believe anyone that tells you this is an easy career field.

No paid holidays and without the option to use accrued sick pay. No overtime pay.
