Pros

Easy gig. Average 50 hrs/week. Handful of delivery locations, some live unload, some drop and hook. Good communication with dispatch & leadership. Hazmat loads available for extra money. Other miscellaneous compensations here and there. Clean & nice driver lounge with wifi, TV, gym, showers, food/snacks/beverage kiosk, gated parking/badge entrance. Friendly coworkers. Regular scheduled maintenance on trucks, same-day maintenance if needed. Decent health/vision/dental/401(k) match. Stock options. Sick pay accrual (no PTO)

Cons

No paid holidays and without the option to use accrued sick pay. No overtime pay.

Hi, We appreciate your feedback. Truck assignment depends on your line of business. We offer other dedicated accounts where you would be assigned a truck. We hope you looked into different opportunities at Swift before leaving the company.

Pros

Good pay for SOME positions, others are not. Newer Trucks. Fuel at most Terminals.

Cons

Pay started at $19.25/hr + $37.42 per load/Deadhead. After being there for a few months, deadhead miles went from 30 miles, to 40, to 50, now 60 miles. To top it off, they moved our yard, so that we are within 60 miles to most of our customers, making it so we cant get deadheads. Best weekly pay was about $2,300, but since they changed the deadhead miles, pay dropped down to $1,400. If you ever need to switch shifts or positions, don't bother working here, I waited almost 8 months to get a schedule change for school, and never got it. Management kept saying "Check back in a few months for an update", but did nothing.
