Pros

- Free coffee - Employees are cool (If only you had a chance to get to know them before they/you get fired)

Cons

- The coffee - CEO - Micromanagement/VERY Questionable business practices - Incompetent Human Resources - High turnover rate (Your job is never safe) The best way I can put it is that it is like playing "pretend adults" when you were a kid. The whole place is a mess of poor planning, and terrible leadership. To be direct, this company is a joke. "Google Premier Partner" means nothing. During my time at Promevo there were around 20+ employees who were either fired, all for either ridiculous reasons or for no reason at all across all departments. Some saw through all of this and left at their own discretion (definitely a smart choice in my opinion). This is always routed to the CEO and how he treats his employees. The CEO is nothing short of a bipolar disorder case. His mood-swings are rapid and extreme. If he's in a bad mood he will, to quote the HR rep, "be in the mood to fire someone", and at this point there is no stopping his reign of terror. Multiple occasions the CEO is very offensive and inconsiderate of his people. I've over heard him making offensive jokes and not understanding that this may hurt the very people he hires. Overall he is childish and disgusting. Adding to the CEO's criminally insane behavior, his business practices are just as asinine. CEO used to have his own executive office (as normal CEOs do) but does not trust his own employee base enough that he moved all of his office equipment down to the sales floor to micromanage his people. On top of this he hires people with the philosophy that you have to EARN your training. To go into further detail, the CEO is able to give you the tools to be successful here as a sales rep here (claims anyone off the street can be trained to do anything within two days or so), but will not train you until you have proven you can work hard enough WITHOUT training for the first few weeks. Seems kind of difficult to do a job without training right? You are correct! But don't expect help, it will not be provided. This is a sink or swim environment and they are throwing you to the sharks. HR is laughably unprofessional and isn't even worth my time to talk about. All the reviews here have said plenty. I wish I had more to say. But so much has been said for so long that I just do not see the point. There are some great people at this company who are really wasting all of their potential here. If any current employees are reading these reviews as well, please, head my warning. GET OUT.

Pros

- Great Coworkers. One of the best parts of working here Is the friends I have made. We still meet on weekends and have a great time. - Trips to Conferences I was lucky enough to experience quite a few conferences and meet my customers face to face.

Cons

A lot has already been said about this company mostly repeating them same things over and over, but I feel like I need to give a non biased review as much as possible, so here is my attempt. - Lack of Training I was lucky enough to start the job with an actual training group, but it was very difficult. Nothing was very structured and it was hard to catch on. Those that could not keep up were eventually let go and never moved to an Account Manager position, which made sense at the time. From what I gather now, the new people are brought in with no training at all in a "sink or swim" gauntlet style test of aptitude and work ethic. You are set up as a kind of 'Customer Service Rep' where you just crank out phone calls. Unfortunatly you are not given any training in regards to Promevos services or hardware, so it gets really tricky when the customer asks you a simple question and you can not answer. You simply just have to refer them to their specified "Account Manager". In the same vein as lack of training, I asked multiple times to be trained further or become a leader in a specified area, but I was never given the opportunity and ultimately felt useless. - No Moving Up There is nowhere to move up once you are hired, unless you consider going from one part of sales to another. I was told upon hire that I would be able to transfer to any department once I was settled in. When I asked HR about an opening elsewhere, I was told that I was not qualified since I didn't have a degree in said field (and as you may have seen before, HR doesn't even qualify to be HR) - Loyal Employees are taken advantage of Some employees are great at their jobs, but sadly I always felt that Management took advantage of this. Those employees worked after hours or came into work hours early and are never compensated for it besides not getting fired. Unfortunatly, that kind of work ethic can only last so long before it starts to strain on your family and home relationships and you just cannot do it anymore. - Disappointment I loved my job and really felt proud to be working for a Google Partner, but when you see how fast they go through employees and over work the good ones, you start to see why there are so many negative reviews.

Pros

Free food, outside basketball hoop, close to White Castle, weekends off

Cons

The CEO is a scumbag. He treats people like dirt and will fire you if he doesn't like you, no matter how hard you work. He decides if he likes you or not within the first couple of weeks. There is no training and very little help with closing deals. It is the worst job I have ever had.
