- The coffee
- CEO
- Micromanagement/VERY Questionable business practices
- Incompetent Human Resources
- High turnover rate (Your job is never safe)
The best way I can put it is that it is like playing "pretend adults" when you were a kid. The whole place is a mess of poor planning, and terrible leadership. To be direct, this company is a joke. "Google Premier Partner" means nothing.
During my time at Promevo there were around 20+ employees who were either fired, all for either ridiculous reasons or for no reason at all across all departments. Some saw through all of this and left at their own discretion (definitely a smart choice in my opinion). This is always routed to the CEO and how he treats his employees. The CEO is nothing short of a bipolar disorder case. His mood-swings are rapid and extreme. If he's in a bad mood he will, to quote the HR rep, "be in the mood to fire someone", and at this point there is no stopping his reign of terror. Multiple occasions the CEO is very offensive and inconsiderate of his people. I've over heard him making offensive jokes and not understanding that this may hurt the very people he hires. Overall he is childish and disgusting.
Adding to the CEO's criminally insane behavior, his business practices are just as asinine. CEO used to have his own executive office (as normal CEOs do) but does not trust his own employee base enough that he moved all of his office equipment down to the sales floor to micromanage his people. On top of this he hires people with the philosophy that you have to EARN your training. To go into further detail, the CEO is able to give you the tools to be successful here as a sales rep here (claims anyone off the street can be trained to do anything within two days or so), but will not train you until you have proven you can work hard enough WITHOUT training for the first few weeks. Seems kind of difficult to do a job without training right? You are correct! But don't expect help, it will not be provided. This is a sink or swim environment and they are throwing you to the sharks.
HR is laughably unprofessional and isn't even worth my time to talk about. All the reviews here have said plenty.
I wish I had more to say. But so much has been said for so long that I just do not see the point. There are some great people at this company who are really wasting all of their potential here. If any current employees are reading these reviews as well, please, head my warning. GET OUT.
