Thanks for your review and opinion. I am glad to hear that you really enjoyed the annual bonuses and first-in-class benefits PWC offers. To start, I vehemently disagree with your assertion on work-life balance. The majority of our overtime is requested, and it's infrequent that we surge. I wish you all the best in your future endeavors.

Pros

Good compensation Lots of hands-on technical work Fast-paced environment Many employees throughout the company are great to work with

Cons

The management style in IT is extremely stressful. Communication is inconsistent, priorities change without warning, and feedback is often delivered in a harsh or unproductive way. Several people left or were pushed out during my time there, which created instability and increased workload for the rest of the team. Work-life balance can be very difficult to maintain, and expectations frequently shift without clear direction.

Let me start by saying I appreciate your feedback...we view it as a gift. Next, thank you for sharing your perspective. We’re certainly pleased to hear you valued several things: compensation, hands-on technical work and the people you worked with. In a fast-paced, growing company, priorities can shift and we recognize that experiences can vary. Even so, we hold leaders to clear expectations around respectful communication, thoughtful planning, and constructive feedback — and we continue to strengthen our practices in these areas. Because we respect employee privacy, we can’t comment on individual employment matters in a public forum. However, I can assure you that the appropriate leaders will have visibility. We appreciate you taking the time to share your input, wish you the best in your future endeavors and thank you for the time and efforts you gave to Priority Wire & Cable during your employment.

Pros

Decent starting pay, great benefits, some of upper management seems to care.

Cons

HR will not actually do anything if something needs to be addressed especially if it is requested to keep it confidential. Hours changed from what was required in hiring process, directly affecting individuals barely making it paycheck to paycheck, employees can be kept on regardless of how many mistakes they make affecting everyone's bonuses, policies change with no regard as to how it will affect time to get orders ready to ship, sales people and some upper management don't know anything about working in the actual warehouse which affects how some things can be changed to actually improve productivity and sales.

Thank you for taking time out to write a review. Although we do not agree on all of your inputs, I'll do my best to address them. We certainly agree that the company works hard to keep our pay competitive in the 22 locations we operate around the US, and in Canada. Our benefits package is something we take pride in and it reflects in the positive comments we tend to receive on this platform. The HR Team is here to assist you if you have an issue, and I agree that confidentiality should be kept wherever possible, although, investigations can, at times, necessitate involving others. The schedule change you refer to was mandated by Operations and communicated ahead of time and was a mission need to meet customer demand. I can promise you that the impact on our workforce is taken into consideration and closely considered before any far-reaching decisions are made. Thank you again for taking time out to pass on your thoughts and know that they have been shared with Operations leaders, your local warehouse manager and Human Resources. It's a pleasure having you as a part of the PWC Team!

Pros

Management is tenured and very knowledgeable of industry best practices, products and customers. Great benefits. The culture here is great, I have yet to meet someone that wasn't here to help in anyway. Very inclusive and has the team atmosphere that anyone would want in a career.

Cons

7TH YEAR ANNIVERSARY

Pros

The company has good benefits, and HR works with people. That has health issues, or personal issues. They do direct training, and allow employees travel to other locations, to train as well.

Cons

The Company as a whole, needs to get better with communication on a corporate level. Because a lot of times, upper management tends to ask the same questions, that was already clarified.

Happy 7th Year Anniversary! Thank you for taking time out to leave a review and I appreciate you giving great marks for our best-in-class benefits. Additionally, I know the HR Team is heavily invested in our workforce and I'm glad their support rings through. Our company training program is a pillar of keeping our workforce in sync and enabled to carry out the mission. Regarding cons, we are always working to improve communication at all levels and we're never as good as we aspire to be...we won't stop trying to improve. Thank you again for the 7-years of service to PWC and I hope we're fortunate enough to have you with us for at least 7 more.
