I cannot give you any negatives

Increased focus on time constraints and stats detracts from safety of service

No training Rude staff No room for staff in the staff room No acknowledgement from management Left on your own on the first day Tried to speak to management regarding holiday just to be completely ignored.

- All staff HAVE to work every single weekend, which is not mentioned until after you finish your induction training - Big brother approach, even if you meet your calls per minute they are still questioning what you’re up to in between calls. Sometimes needing a breather during your 10 hour shift taking call after call is not acceptable to them. It’s all about numbers - Audits are dependant on who does them. You may pass them all but then get a different auditor who fails on would normally be a pass which is deflating - Xmas rota used to be worked out in a better way but last year was a shambles and we all had to work nearly every day of it

Senior management are slow to act, training on the job instead of proper training. Pay is below the market. System is archaic and extremely time consuming.

Nothing much to say. The training could be a bit more fine tuned.

Pay is minimum wage to deal with life threatening emergencies on the phone, I suppose you get what you pay for. If people see the level of the call handlers would definetly not call 111. They just fired the CTM (clinical managers) which is the biggest error; no one is trained to deal with complex cases and emergency calls as clinicians are busy enough trying to reach unrealistic targets. They fired people that has been working 11 years being loyal to them, under underperfoming business related issues. Mainly they created an unsafe environment for not only the workers but the people that call looking for care. Kudos!
