Salary not at market rate. Previous GM left and replacement runs the business like a small corner store. Micro management from the top in Australia, not in keeping with UK values. Trying to save every cent to the detriment of team spirit.

Customers can be difficult and the ways in which you are encouraged to interact with them can make it worse.

Supervisors bully and intimidate the sales associate. Extreme power dynamic in the store which makes it an uncomfortable place to work. Store manager refuses to acknowledge this and address it when brought up. Supervisors and manager also keep a close eye on the security camera to watch sales assistants. Lots of nitpicking
