Pros
- Training is next level at every level. If you're a trainee looking for your first role, the training and development will make your career.
- social culture, Goodwood, the summer party, the business does a lot for people. Not to mention the incentive trips abroad.
- progression, if you're ambitious and demonstrate the right behaviours, you'll get the growth reward.
- ED&I - not just a buzzword, they really live it.
- Mental health support, lots of other great benefits.
- CEO very involved in a positive way, always talking to people, doing monthly Q&As, Matt and the leadership team really care about people.
- great managers, as talent acquisition for recruiters I worked closely with the management community - brilliant people, mentors, coaches.
- all the latest tech and investment
- years of contacts and expertise to jump into.
- lovely, welcoming people.
Big PLC, heart of a small business and such a strong culture. We lost an incredible colleague at the beginning of the year and the way that everyone supported each other, the tributes, such a positive reaction to something so devastating. It speaks volumes for what they have there.
Cons
Relocating, so moving on, not really downsides.
Sales and Recruitment is incredibly rewarding, career growth, what you learn. My biggest advice to anyone joining as a trainee is to know that it isn't easy - but if you demonstrate the right behaviours you'll get the time to get there.
