Pros

None apart from the hybrid

Cons

Unless you are willing to do all the work and let your manager take all the credit then I wouldn't work here

Thank you for sharing your views and feedback. Clearly, we're concerned to hear your thoughts around recognition and management of our people - which we take seriously. We have a strong management structure in place now, with some good leaders across the organisation who's purpose is to develop thier people and drive towards success. I'm sure your experience was a isolated one.

Pros

the people are nice and friendly and makes me enjoy coming to work

Cons

the senior management don't care at all and I have heard of people recently laid off with as little as one day notice after years of service. it is very sad and even if they haven't done that to me, it makes me and my colleagues feel unsafe in my role

Pros

Very well supported from Senior Management. Up to date CRM and technology to help you do your job on a daily basis. Approachable CEO and SLT who feel like they care for your career development. Excellent comradery if you get into the right team. Good training if you are new into recruitment. Brilliant Comp & Bens and competitive salaries.

Cons

Not much flex around working from home but maybe a good thing if you starting out in your career. Not overly diverse in some areas from a staffing perspective.

Thank you for your comments and positive feedback. Great to read some of the pros. Regardng your, cons - we have a clear hybrid approach, but we also value to opportunity and positives of bringing teams together in our offices - as well as considering individual circumstances. Still work to be done in many aspecs, but we're absolutely focused on creating a inclusive working environment for everyone.

Pros

- Training is next level at every level. If you're a trainee looking for your first role, the training and development will make your career. - social culture, Goodwood, the summer party, the business does a lot for people. Not to mention the incentive trips abroad. - progression, if you're ambitious and demonstrate the right behaviours, you'll get the growth reward. - ED&I - not just a buzzword, they really live it. - Mental health support, lots of other great benefits. - CEO very involved in a positive way, always talking to people, doing monthly Q&As, Matt and the leadership team really care about people. - great managers, as talent acquisition for recruiters I worked closely with the management community - brilliant people, mentors, coaches. - all the latest tech and investment - years of contacts and expertise to jump into. - lovely, welcoming people. Big PLC, heart of a small business and such a strong culture. We lost an incredible colleague at the beginning of the year and the way that everyone supported each other, the tributes, such a positive reaction to something so devastating. It speaks volumes for what they have there.

Cons

Relocating, so moving on, not really downsides. Sales and Recruitment is incredibly rewarding, career growth, what you learn. My biggest advice to anyone joining as a trainee is to know that it isn't easy - but if you demonstrate the right behaviours you'll get the time to get there.

Pros

Supportive Work Environment: Gattaca is truly an exceptional company to work for. From day one, it feels like you’re joining a family rather than just a team. The supportive environment is second to none, and my team is a shining example of this. Each member brings unique skills to the table, and we consistently help each other out, ensuring everyone succeeds. Career Development: One of the things that sets Gattaca apart is how they take a chance on everyone, just as they did with me. They’ve been instrumental in steering my career in the direction I wanted, which has had a profound impact not only on my professional life but also on my personal wellbeing. I can’t express enough how much I appreciate this daily. Rewards and Recognition: The company recognises and rewards those who go above and beyond. Whether it’s through bonuses, holidays, or team social trips, Gattaca ensures their staff feel valued. I’ve never encountered a company so genuinely concerned about its employees working too many hours or becoming overwhelmed. Gattaca really cares. Staff Wellbeing: Gattaca is genuinely concerned about its employees’ wellbeing, especially when it comes to overworking or feeling overwhelmed. The company actively ensures that employees are well-supported. Continuous Professional Development: Continuous development is at the heart of the company culture. They provide numerous opportunities for growth, offering both internal and external training courses to support professional development. Investment in Technology: Gattaca invests heavily in technology and is always at the forefront of new innovations, ensuring employees have access to the latest tools and resources. Trust and Autonomy: Management trusts their employees to get on with their work without micromanagement. This approach fosters a sense of ownership and motivation, making you feel like a true part of the company’s success. Strong Benefits Package: The benefits package is another highlight. From a health cash plan to private medical insurance, cycle-to-work schemes, and tech purchase programmes, Gattaca ensures that their employees are well taken care of. Approachable Leadership: The leadership team, including the Chief Executive, Matt Wragg, and the Senior Leadership Team (SLT), is friendly, approachable, and genuinely invested in the success of the staff. They make you feel like part of the family while maintaining a strong focus on the company’s goals. They are human, and act like it. Diversity and Inclusion: Gattaca is committed to diversity and inclusion, supporting various events and initiatives that celebrate different backgrounds. They also have internal groups to support various employee categories, ensuring everyone feels represented and valued, alongside the Employee Assistance Programme, should anybody need to talk about their wellbeing or mental health.

Cons

Workload Management: While Gattaca is good at recognising overwork, the workload itself can sometimes be demanding. Some employees might still feel the pressure of balancing multiple responsibilities, and more resource would be useful at times to be effective.
