I have been working at Fitbit full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

I've been with the company for more than 3 years now and there was never a dull moment. My role has changed a couple of times, each year has presented different challenges and new learnings and I was lucky enough to have a wonderful team to share them with. I think the biggest asset of this company are the people: everyone here is highly passionate about what they're doing, super smart and with strong work ethics. The open, non-hierarchical and straightforward culture have been refreshing and have been the type of environment that allowed my to do my best. Last but not least, it's a company that really cares about its employees and their wellbeing. Taking time off, taking care of your physical and mental wellbeing are strongly encouraged and supported from top level down. Especially during these quarantine months and as a parent I've experienced and appreciated the care and the support

    Cons

While we're over the learning curve of being a truly global company, not just a US one, there's still room of improvement here. There are a few members of the leadership team that should work on adopting a more decentralized point of view and on learning to trust people they don't get to see in person.

I have been working at Fitbit full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

    - Half the company lives with the hope of the Google acquisition can go through and then management is going to change - HR does a great job of fighting for benefits on par with other large IT companies

    Cons

    - No work-life balance, we often work 14 hour days - Upper & lower Management works weekends and actively encourages others to do the same - You will get contacted on PTO and asked to deliver - There is no overtime - CEO effectively runs the prioritisation in the company's products, deeming the whole Product Org useless and creating a lot of waste - No clear path for growth - Everybody is defensive and avoids commitment on a regular basis

I worked at Fitbit full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Loved working with very intelligent, engaged employees. Co-founders are great people and care about their employees. Fast-paced environment, worked on very interesting projects.

    Cons

Management was highly varied depending on who you reported to, this created some discontent across teams.
